What is the HashiCorp Terraform Acceleration Program (TAP)?

The Terraform Acceleration Program (TAP) is Somerford’s offering to accelerate Terraform Enterprise rapidly within an organisation. As Terraform is a critical yet complex component of a business’ workflow, expert guidance may be required to effectively integrate Terraform within your organisation.
That’s where our TAP service comes in.
What is HashiCorp Terraform?
HashiCorp’s Terraform solution is an open-source tool that allows you to define and manage your infrastructure as code. It provides a simple and consistent way to manage resources across different cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and others. Terraform uses a declarative language to define infrastructure, which means you describe the desired state of your infrastructure, and Terraform figures out how to get there.
Why might you need TAP?
There are a couple of different contexts in which deploying our TAP service would be a beneficial move.
Firstly, if you have already become a Terraform Cloud/Enterprise customer and find you are encountering adoption challenges when utilising the software, you may find that the guidance offered as part of TAP can figure out the kinks and ensure optimisation.
Alternatively, you may be an experienced user with Terraform and you believe your organisation is ready for strategic and tactical consultations on wider Terraform adoption.
Lastly, you may find advantages in TAP if you do not currently utilise HashiCorp but your organisational complexity has grown rapidly or unexpectedly, and so Cloud/Enterprise features are needed, and you would welcome a strategic consultation on this possibility.
What’s included in our TAP service?
